“We were passed Mark's name when considering building our log home. We have nothing but praise and respect for Mark and his work. He worked well with our ideas, was efficient, neat, accommodating, and his high standards were exactly what we wanted and needed in the environment where we were building. If you don't know Castle Hill, it's a place where rain travels uphill on occasions!

He was extremely accommodating with the subcontractors which were our responsibility, some of which left a lot to be desired!

As clients who were doing some of the work ourselves, he gave us tips and tricks, and was great to bounce ideas off. The carpentry work which we asked him to do was absolutely perfect; he really understood what we were trying to achieve with our house.

He suggested improvements when he thought a better system would work better, and also impressed the building inspector too with his options for weather proofing. Mark doesn't skip corners; he is a conscientious, tidy builder who with his years of work has gained a wide range of skills meaning he makes the right decisions for the job he's doing, and he does it extremely well.

When there were options available on materials, he would run them past us, and made sure that throughout the whole process we understood what was happening, and where necessary had input; his communication was great the whole way along the process.

It's been an utter delight to work with Mark, and we would thoroughly recommend Mark for building a log home, and as he would use the same skill set for a conventional build, we would presume to say he'd do an equally good job there too.”

“Roberts Construction Limited was involved in the repair work of my damaged house due to the February and June earthquakes. They were punctual and very reliable. They kept to the EQC security codes and made sure no one was allowed into the house when work was in full swing unless supervised.

Mark undertook internal reconstruction on the vessel NZ Explorer over the period 1999-2000. Work involved redesign and refitting of 16 cabins, galley, restaurant and bridge areas.

 Over this time, Mark was diligent in aspects all of his work. We chose Mark because of his craftsmanship and ability to complete this job in a tight time frame.
Often the scale and scope of the work evolved during the project, Mark managed this well and his experience gave us considerable end financial gain.
